The city will erase me

Just as it has erased everything else that came to be.

Because we’re all wanderers, finding shelter in places like we

Similarity breeds comfortability, but also complacency

And so they grow to live blamelessly.

What’s wrong with differences?

Or is it like the way you ask for advice,

Just because you want someone to agree with your vices.

So you don’t let them sit at the table

So you don’t let them sit at any table.

Does that make you feel able?

The city will erase me

But not before I fight for we.

And if we are to be erased,

I’d rather we leave fighting than disgraced.

Because they can take and take with their malignity,

But they can never take away our dignity.
